Rubens Ghenov
We haven’t done an Artist Spotlight in awhile, so today we wanted to introduce you to one of our favorite new abstract painters, Rubens Ghenov. Ghenov, originally from Brazil, received his Master of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. I learned about Ghenov through my friend Sally Morgan when I was visiting her booth at Art Basel this past December. Sally represents Ghenov at her gallery Morgan Lehman in Manhattan. Ghenov’s pieces are small scale, most of them 20″ x 16″ and I have found are often the perfect pop of color in just about any room. Enjoy!
