Veere Grenney in Veranda
After we saw the incredible cover of the most recent Veranda magazine (photo below), we couldn’t wait to get our hands on a copy and get a closer look at the London townhouse of designer Veere Grenney. The piece de resistance of this Mary Fox Linton-trained, Colefax & Fowler alumn is the living room which is swathed in the most beautiful olive green velvet (very Holiday appropriate!). His ability to juxtapose both traditional fabrics and upholstery with modern art, while mixing antiques from many different periods is inspiring to say the least.
The angular, clean white sectional, below, is a wonderful foil to the curvy, floral print chairs. above.
Veere started his career at the age of 22 dealing antiques and objects on Portobello Road in London before being offered a job by Mary Fox Linton. His eye for mixing antiques is impeccable!

Damask fabric covered walls give this smaller dining room a feeling of grandness.
The elegant master bedroom, below, features a tailored, draped bed. We love the playful pops of yellow throughout.

Are you as taken with this house as we are?
