If you follow us on Instagram (if you don’t, you better start!), you know that we love to post photos documenting current projects, amazing finds, and our favorite resources. Instagram is great for sharing with our followers, but its also become a great source of everyday inspiration for us as designers. Getting an inside look into the everyday lives of our favorite designers, whether it be a peek into their living room or a new scheme they’re working on for a client, could not be more fun. It’s also become a great forum to learn about new sources, products and stores. So, who do we love to follow? Here are some of our favorite instagrammers from the interior design and fashion worlds that inspire us daily:
Alessandra Branca (@abranca)– “The virtual visual ANYTIME anywhere cocktail party!!(with NO hangover!!)” is how interior designer Alessandra Branca describes her Instagram feed. In this photo she shares a scheme she’s working on for a house in Harbour Island.
Tory Burch (@toryburch)–Tory is one of the few fashion designers that really lets you in–snapshots of her fabulous Pierre Hotel apartment, exotic vacation locales and her current ready-to-wear collection will have you skipping right over to the nearest Tory Burch store.
Christopher Spitzmiller (@christopherspitzmiller)–We are huge fans of Christopher Spitzmiller’s handmade lamps and use them whenever we can on projects. Christopher is currently decorating his home in Millbrook, NY and it’s a joy to watch him do it–especially when he uses Albert Hadley wallpaper in his attic (below).
Oscar PR Girl (@oscarprgirl)–“PR girl for Oscar de la Renta, reporting from inside one of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses” is how Erika Bearman describes her instagram account which has over 300K devoted followers. 24/7 Gorgeous gowns, a Miles Redd decorated beach house–enough said.
